Uber Freight
Uber Freight announced the appointment of Rebecca Tinucci as chief executive officer, marking a new chapter in the company’s evolution as an end-to-end enterprise logistics platform delivering integrated technology, services and solutions across the supply chain.
Tinucci succeeds founder and CEO Lior Ron, who will transition to chairman. Ron will take on a new role as COO of Waabi, a company pioneering physical AI, starting with autonomous trucking in which Uber is a major investor, underscoring Uber’s continued commitment to innovation across logistics and autonomous technologies.
Tinucci brings expertise from Tesla, where she led the global charging organization, transforming it into a profitable, multi-billion-dollar business and spearheading industry-wide collaborations that set the North American standard for electric vehicle infrastructure.
FedEx
FedEx Corp. announced the appointment of Vishal Talwar, formerly senior managing director and chief growth officer of Accenture Technology, to executive vice-president, chief digital and information officer of FedEx Corp., and president of FedEx Dataworks.
With more than 27 years of experience in utilizing technology to drive growth, improve operational efficiency and elevate customer experience, Talwar brings expertise in data science, digital infrastructure and enterprise-scale transformation. Swisslog Healthcare
Swisslog Healthcare, a supplier of health care technology combining pharmacy and transport automation, announced that marketing expert Amanda Costanzi has been appointed as its global head of marketing and communications. Costanzi will lead the company’s global marketing team to define and expand Swisslog Healthcare’s brand worldwide.
Costanzi has served as Swisslog Healthcare’s head of marketing and communications for North America for the last three and a half years. In her new role, she will leverage and integrated omnichannel approach to drive customer acquisition and retention programs. Among her responsibilities, Costanzi will oversee global efforts for internal communication and events, brand management, publicity and media relations, market strategies for acquisition and retention, product marketing, nurturing and loyalty efforts, digital initiatives and campaign strategies.
