New product: WMS for SMB

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota—Created for small- and medium-sized warehouses, HighJump Warehouse Advantage Express from HighJump Software Inc, is designed to be rapidly deployable.
The software uses the same architecture as the company’s Tier 1 WMS, which means additional HighJump modules or programs, such as the Supply Chain Advantage suite, can be added as a component. It also means that if the warehouse or company grows, operations can be transferred to HighJump’s enterprise-level WMS.
Warehouse Advantage Express offers a number functions including:
- tracking and visibility of inbound orders
- receiving (automatically validates receipts against orders)
- directed put-away (a variety of methods are supported including FIFO and LIFO)
- picking (by order, batch or label)
- packing-shipping
- replenishment
- inventory control
- real-time online visibility tools
