Taiwan and South Korea have signed a new aviation agreement to resume flights between the two nations, after Taiwan cut links with South Korea in 1992 (after it switched diplomatic recognition from Taipei to Beijing).
South Korea and Taiwan will also now be able to fly over each other’s airspace, reports schednet.com
There are currently 19 flights between Seoul and Taipei. This figure is expected to go up to 55 per week.
