Spara Capital hires new transportation, logistics advisor

OAKVILLE, Ont. — David Firman has joined Spara Capital Partners as managing director of transportation and logistics. Spara’s transportation and logistics services will focus on providing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financing services to the industry, according to officials.

Prior to joining Spara, Firman spent approximately 20 years in executive and senior management roles within the transportation and logistics industry. In 1990, Firman founded and grew a successful transportation business, before selling it after 15 years of operation. He then joined a national transportation company where he spent a number of years growing the company’s logistics business through a combination of organic opportunities and strategic acquisitions.
