Kinaxis partners with Databricks to enhance AI-driven supply chain decision-making

Kinaxis, a global end-to-end supply chain orchestration company, has announced a partnership with Databricks, a data and AI company, to advance intelligent supply chain decision-making.

The collaboration integrates Kinaxis Maestro, an AI-native supply chain platform, with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. The companies say this will enable businesses to unify data, accelerate AI adoption and enhance supply chain agility in response to disruptions.

“Global supply chain organizations are dealing with more data than ever, but it’s often fragmented across systems, making it difficult to act quickly or consistently,” said Andrew Bell, chief product officer at Kinaxis. “This partnership strengthens the data fabric that powers Maestro, accelerating our AI innovation agenda and enabling faster, smarter decisions at scale. Together, we’re giving businesses the ability to orchestrate their supply chains with the intelligence and speed today’s disruptions demand.”

The integration aims to improve Maestro’s supply chain data fabric by consolidating core system information such as inventory and procurement data with external factors like weather patterns and market signals. This unified approach is expected to provide faster insights, improve execution agility and create more resilient supply chains.

Maestro, designed specifically for supply chain orchestration, leverages Databricks’ infrastructure for enterprise-grade data controls and scalability. It employs Delta Sharing technology for secure, cross-platform data integration, allowing organizations to reduce silos and enhance AI-driven forecasting and automation.

“Supply chain data is among the most complex and operationally critical in the enterprise, but it is critical to help organizations build data intelligence,” said Shiv Trisal, global manufacturing, transportation and energy GTM leader at Databricks. “By partnering with Kinaxis, we’re helping companies centralize data and shift from fragmented insights to real-time, intelligent actions that power their enterprise AI strategy.”

The companies claim the integration will improve supply chain response times by allowing Maestro to process changes without recalculating entire datasets, reducing delays and data overhead.

As businesses increasingly seek AI-driven supply chain solutions, Kinaxis and Databricks say they aim to set a new industry standard for intelligent supply chain orchestration by embedding real-time intelligence across planning and execution functions.
