Purolator reveals carriers of the year

Armour Transportation Systems, Ayr Motor Express and I.S. Cargo are winners of Purolator’s 2022 Carrier of the Year Awards.

Armour Transportation Systems received Purolator’s Eastern Canada Safety Award, Ayr Motor Express received Purolator’s Eastern Canada Service Award, and I.S. Cargo received both Purolator’s Western Canada Safety and its Western Service Award.

“We are delighted to recognize these top-performing linehaul carriers that go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service and prioritize safety in their processes and results,” said Joe Lombardo, vice-president, network operations, Purolator.

Introduced in 2009, the Purolator Carrier of the Year Award objectively evaluates Purolator carriers in several key areas, including on-time performance, peak-season performance and green initiatives. The evaluation also looks at carrier fitness, which includes fuel efficiency, cost-reduction initiatives, contingency plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
