OAKLAND, Calif. – GSC Logistics, Inc. has seen such a significant growth in their Pacific Northwest business that they are relocating their regional offices to accommodate increased staffing levels.
“We have more than tripled the office staff and doubled the number of drivers servicing our clients in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Vancouver B.C., and Montana,” said Andres Garcia, chairman and executive vice-president.
“In addition to acquiring additional yard space we thought it was important to be closer to the waterfront where so much of our business happens. That is why we are moving to the Port of Tacoma building.”
“GSC attributes our growth to a few factors, one being our outstanding marketing and business development teams,” said Scott Taylor, CEO and president.
“GSC also brings our experience from being the largest drayage operator in Northern California and put those skills to work in partnership with the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma. Together we are at the forefront of any new initiatives to improve business in the region.”
“We also bring our extensive background working with the Clean Truck Program to the PNW,” continues Garcia.
“We help drivers upgrade their engines to be compliant by January 1st, 2019, through driver grants. Not only is this good for the environment it is also helps individuals grow their own income.”
GSC Logistics, Inc. was founded in 1988 to provide ocean and intermodal drayage, domestic and import/export cross-dock deconsolidation, overweight transportation, D.C. bypass programs, refrigerated, brokerage and dry truckload services.
