Blue Yonder has acquired the business of U.K.-based Pledge Earth Technologies Ltd., bringing enhanced carbon emissions tracking capabilities to its digital supply chain platform.
The acquisition gives Blue Yonder’s customers—including beneficial cargo owners, enterprise supply chain leaders and logistics service providers—access to globally accredited CO₂e emissions reporting aligned with ISO 14083 and the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) framework. The system automates emissions data collection across all transport modes and logistics hubs, helping businesses meet Scope 3 reporting and sustainability requirements.
“The ability to easily and accurately quantify precise emissions is a huge win for our customers’ sustainability initiatives, but it’s also more than that – it’s about what you can do with that information,” said Saskia van Gendt, chief sustainability officer with Blue Yonder.
Pledge’s tools integrate directly into the Blue Yonder platform, enabling users to manage and report emissions with improved transparency and audit readiness, while identifying inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
“At Pledge, we believe that technology is a powerful catalyst in the fight against climate change,” said David de Picciotto, CEO and co-founder of Pledge. “By joining forces with Blue Yonder, we are multiplying our reach and our impact, giving the largest enterprise supply chains on the planet access to the tools they need to measure, report and cut carbon.”
The Pledge team will join Blue Yonder to support continued platform development. Existing Pledge customers will remain supported under the new ownership.
