Schiller Park, Illinois—ARPAC, an integrator of end-of-line packaging solutions, is buying Lambert (formerly Lamson) Material Handling. Lambert has been a manufacturer of conventional palletizers for over 66 years, introducing the first automatic palletizer to the North American market in 1948.

“We are very excited about this acquisition, which [will offer] our customers a choice of either conventional or robotic palletizing as part of a completely integrated packaging line.” says Gary Ehmka, vice-president of sales and marketing of Arpac.

“We look forward to the strong synergy which will be a direct result of incorporating our complementary product line within ARPAC’s unmatched one stop solution,” said Bob Manion, President, Lambert Material Handling. “It’s a win-win for all of our customers, employees and the industry.”
