Oxford Properties
Oxford Properties Group has broken ground on the first phase of a 180-acre industrial development in Milton, Ontario. The vacant property will become the James Snow Business Park, with a 3.3-million-sq.-ft. of industrial space. The park will be developed in phases and total 14 buildings, with the first phase representing 1.55 million square feet across four buildings. The park will target LEED certification, and will have 400,000 square feet of solar photovoltaic arrays installed in the first phase as part of the base building infrastructure to provide 3.8 million kWh of renewable energy annually for occupiers. It will also have outdoor amenity spaces along an internal trail network that connect to Milton’s hundreds of kilometres of walking trails.
SIJ Americas
SIJ Americas (a wholly owned subsidiary of SIJ- Slovenian Steel Group) has acquired and established a new 35,000-sq.-ft. warehouse facility. Just 40 kilometres southwest of Chicago, the warehouse started operations in August 2022 and supplies stainless and tool steel products for its US- and Canada-based distributor partners.
