HOUSTON, Texas: In preparation for an October launch in New York, the Joe Fresh clothing division of Loblaw Companies Ltd has chosen to partner with Port Logistics Group.
The Texas-based logistics services company will provide warehousing, inventory management, value-added service and regional transportation as part of a multi-year deal.
Port Logistics worked in conjunction with both the Joe Fresh team and SD Retail Consulting to design the warehouse space, systems interfaces, daily workflow, and the retail store delivery schedule.
According to Port Logistics Group chief commercial officer, Jeff Wolpov, “This project showcases our retail knowledge, experience and systems. It also demonstrates the importance of an experienced team that knows what it takes to successfully launch a new brand. We are extremely pleased to be associated with the Joe Fresh brand and look forward to growing with them.”
Currently, there are five Joe Fresh stores in the New York City area, which Port Logistics Group serves from its Clifton, New Jersey facility.
