MONTREAL, Quebec—Unionized employees, represented by the Teamsters Québec, local 1999, are on strike at McMahon Distributeur pharmaceutique inc’s Montreal DC. The union rejected the company’s offer after several months of bargaining.
“We are disappointed with the employees’ decision to go on strike, especially given the fact that the offer was recommended by the government-appointed conciliator, said Luc Martinovitch, Vice-President and General Manager of McMahon Distributeur pharmaceutique inc.
McMahon has implemented a contingency plan to continue to supply all its clients.
