MT. WASHINGTON, Kentucky – MHS has acquired eMotion Controls Co., a controls system integration and software company. The two companies have often partnered on projects over the past 15 years. eMotion will be part of MHS’s Lifecycle Performance Services (LPS).
Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, eMotion provides material handling systems integration, hardware design, software and robotic solutions. It serves multiple end-markets, including parcel sortation and fulfillment & distribution.

Financial terms for the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1999, MHS Global provides material handling systems for distribution and fulfillment operations. The company has a global installed base of over US$5 billion for small to large distribution and fulfillment projects in a variety of industries, including e-commerce, parcel, third party logistics and outside integrators.
