Cherry Hill, NJ—Rent-A-Center has selected NFI to support a key sourcing and distribution initiative to be launched by the rent-to-own operator this spring. To better service Rent-A-Center stores across the United States and Puerto Rico, NFI will launch a supply chain solution with strategically located distribution centres along with an integrated transportation solution consisting of transportation management and dedicated fleets.

It was adopted with an eye for driving heightened operational efficiencies to enhance our customer’s experience in our stores, and our future digital experience as well,” said Rent-A-Center executive vice-president and chief omnichannel officer Joel Mussat. “The focus is on bringing the right products to market at the right time, as cost-effectively as possible, to meet our consumer’s heightened expectations.”
NFI will execute the plan in phases, launching in the Southwest and expanding across the US throughout the year. Shortly after the distribution centres are operational, the transportation solutions will be deployed to optimally replenish store inventories.
