Port of Thunder Bay cleans up its community

The Port of Thunder Bay recently partnered with nearby organizations for its first EcoSuperior Spring Up to Clean Up.

A crew comprised of members from the Port of Thunder Bay, Logistec Corporation, Thunder Bay Tug Services Ltd., and Thunder Bay Terminals took part in the clean-up event. The group cleaned up Main Street, 110th Avenue, Island Drive and surrounding areas filling two truckloads of garbage.

The Port of Thunder Bay thanks everyone who took the time to help, and EcoSuperior Environmental Programs for its work in the initiative.

While the port said it enjoyed being able to clean up the area, it would like to remind everyone that the easiest way to make a difference is to try to reduce the amount of trash they create, and by putting any trash they do make in proper places for waste disposal.
