Pioneering concepts and ideas for the future of mobility and logistics will be presented and discussed at Hypermotion from 20 to 22 November 2018 in Frankfurt. The event – a mixture of interactive trade fair, conferences and the Hypermotion Lab with pitches and talks – focuses on intelligent systems and solutions for mobility, transport, logistics and digital infrastructure.
The second Hypermotion, taking place from 20 to 22 November 2018, will be showcasing fascinating topics that are important to all of us. How are traffic and transport systems changing as a result of digitization and decarbonization? What can be done to make logistics and mobility chains in smart cities and digital regions individual and intermodal? How will this impact established players, and what opportunities does this present for all involved? What can be done to create logistics and mobility chains that are individually tailored and personalized for the end customers?
Answers to these and other questions will be on offer at Hypermotion, the hotspot of innovations for the mobility and logistics scene. Here, the focus is on disruptive ideas and intelligent networking for traffic and logistics systems. Participants run the gamut from large corporations and SMEs to start-ups and representatives from the fields of science, academia, policy-makers and associations.
Some 60 companies have already confirmed that they will be taking part. In addition to a roster of returnees that includes the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) and partners Logistics Alliance Germany, the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt) and NOW GmbH (National Organisation for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology), there are numerous newcomers, such as BVG (Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe), DHL, ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik GmbH, inno2grid GmbH, IVU Traffic Technologies, JobRad, Linde Material Handling, Metropolis Service, SAP, SSI Schäfer, Swisslog, Synfioo GmbH, Technical University of Munich with the TUM Living Lab Connected Mobility and ViaVan GmbH.
“Hypermotion’s concept has met with a tremendous reception from experts, exhibitors and visitors, and we will continue to grow and develop the event with new partners and topics,” explains Danilo Kirschner, director of Hypermotion.
That is why the stage hosting the Hypermotion Lab and its exciting three-day program will be moved to the centre of Hall 5.1 this year, while the start-up area with its plug-and-play co-working space will be centrally positioned within the exhibition. The conference schedules have also been modified to ensure that conference participants have more time to visit the exhibition and learn about disruptive new approaches and solutions. The objective is to integrate the trade fair and conferences more closely with one another and promote an exchange of ideas.
