Fuel Transport says it is adding transportation assets to expand its dedicated fleet footprint in the Greater Toronto Area and support growing demand for cross-border service in Ontario and the U.S. Midwest.
The Montreal-based logistics and transportation company said the move responds to shifting customer market dynamics and increased capacity demand in key freight corridors.
New truck operations will launch from Fuel’s recently expanded Brampton warehouse at 35 Predicio Court, positioning assets closer to Toronto-bound freight and high-volume commercial routes. The company said aligning transportation assets with existing infrastructure is expected to improve efficiency and service reliability as part of its integrated logistics offering.
“Our customers’ supply chains are changing, and our network has to stay in step,” said Peter Perrella, vice-president of operations, Fuel Transport. “The investments we’re making are about better aligning our assets and services to our customers’ needs. By establishing a dedicated footprint in Brampton, we’re improving access to Toronto, strengthening cross-border service and giving our clients the flexibility their markets now demand.”
Fuel said the new assets include dry box trailers, over-the-road specialized equipment, tankers and an electric tractor, supporting a range of freight solutions across its core logistics markets.
The company said the investment reinforces its dedicated fleet model and broader strategy to anticipate customer demand while strengthening its North American network.
