DP World opens new multi-customer warehouse in Mexico

DP World has opened a new multi-customer warehouse in Querétaro as part of its expanding logistics network in Mexico, aiming to serve manufacturers shifting production to North America.

The 117,000-square-foot facility, located in La Bomba Industrial Park in El Marqués, boosts the company’s third-party logistics capabilities in Central Mexico amid rising demand driven by nearshoring.

DP World now employs nearly 800 supply chain workers in the country and continues to scale its national operations. The opening follows a new freight forwarding office in Mexico City earlier this year and complements warehousing and forwarding operations in Toronto, Miami and multiple Brazilian cities.

“Querétaro is one of the most important manufacturing hubs in Mexico, and our new facility strengthens our ability to support customers who are expanding or relocating production to the region,” said Glen Clark, CEO of DP World in the U.S. and Mexico. “As nearshoring accelerates, companies need more than just warehousing space. They want integrated, end-to-end supply chain solutions that improve speed, reliability and cost-efficiency. This new site enhances our North American network and reinforces DP World’s commitment to helping businesses scale and compete in a fast-changing global market.”

The warehouse is DP World’s first multi-customer facility in the Bajío region, a fast-growing industrial hub for automotive, industrial and technology supply chains. Positioned near Highway 57 and Querétaro Intercontinental Airport, it is designed to support regional distribution and cross-border flows.

The site includes racked and floor storage, 6,168 pallet positions, scalable capacity and an expected weekly throughput of 17–20 FEUs. Services include inventory management, inbound and outbound operations, kitting, labeling, repacking, cross-docking, returns processing and container unloading.

Equipped with a modern warehouse management system, 24/7 security, fire suppression and energy-efficient lighting, the facility complies with Mexican safety standards and aligns with U.S. trade-compliance guidelines.
