Calgary, Alberta-based AR Williams Material Handling has been named Clark Material Handling Company’s Dealer of the Year for 2008. AR Williams has sold Clark products for more than 40 years in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This marks the second time in three years the dealership has won the title, which is voted on by Clark employees.

The Association for Operations Management (APICS) has partnered with the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) to provide resources to individuals involved in ALAN’s disaster relief efforts. Formed in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina, ALAN works with a coalition of 13 logistics, distribution, warehousing, transportation and procurement organizations to co-ordinate the logistics behind humanitarian relief efforts internationally.
