The Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation (CITT) and Supply Chain Canada West have formalized their collaboration through a new alliance agreement aimed at expanding professional development and industry engagement across Western Canada.
The agreement will allow both organizations to extend their reach, enhance offerings and work jointly on initiatives to better serve logistics and supply chain professionals in the region.
“Western Canada is such a crucial spoke in the national – and international – logistics hub,” said Pina Melchionna, president and CEO of CITT. “We’re very much looking forward to exploring how our two associations can support each other in the west and beyond, and to add even more value for our respective memberships.”
Allan To, president and CEO of Supply Chain Canada West, said the alliance reflects a shared commitment to strengthening connections across Canada’s logistics network. “Together, we can deliver even greater value to our members and to the supply chain community across the country,” he said.
The announcement follows a series of recent industry events hosted by CITT in Western Canada, including the Calgary Logistics Briefing and Canada’s Western Gateway in Motion. CITT’s annual Canada’s Logistics Conference is also set to take place in Calgary in June 2026.
