CITT offers new scholarship

TORONTO: The CITT has added a transportation law scholarship to its lineup of academic bursaries. The scholarship, worth $500, is available to a candidate who wants to take CITT’s transportation law course. William Tackaberry of TCRC Freight Legal Services donated the scholarship.

“My company is providing this scholarship in transportation law as a recognition of the importance of this area in the educational development of the logistics practitioner,” said Tackaberry, a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Tackaberry has also served on the CITT’s Toronto Area Council, its national board and is past honourary president.

CITT is a professional development organization in the supply chain and transportation logistics sector offering professional certification, development and networking opportunities.
