Molson Coors picks Hyphen Transport Management as 4PL

VAUGHAN, ONTARIO: Molson Coors Canada will use Hyphen Transportation Management Inc—a subsidiary of Calyx Transportation Group Inc—to provide transportation management services, Calyx has announced.

Through the agreement between the companies, Hyphen will provide carrier selection, rate negotiation, audit and payment services, as well as operational analysis and continuous improvement programs. Hyphen will use its in-house transportation management software to schedule and route Molson Coors’s shipments across Canada.

As a non-asset-based 4PL, Hyphen has the independence to make the most appropriate carrier selection, said Calyx. The company noted Molson Coors Canada selected Hyphen based on overall value and the technology employed, Hyphen’s culture of continuous improvement and the company’s experience in providing transportation management programs.

Hyphen has a team of employees on site at Molson Coors in Toronto and Montreal, as well as a team at Hyphen’s headquarters in Vaughan.
