The Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) announced its 2010-2011 board of directors at its recent 33rd annual conference in Anaheim, California.

Catherine Cooper, executive vice-president and chief information officer, OHL is president. 

Lawrence Dean Shemesh, president and CEO, OPSdesign Consulting is vice-president and president-elect.

Lawrence Corrigan, vice-president of operations at Medline Industries, Inc is secretary/treasurer.

Timothy Feemster, senior vice-president and director of global logistics, Grubb & Ellis Company is immediate past president.
 
Michael Wohlwend, senior, vice-president, SAP Americas is director of the 2011 conference, while Richard Thorn, engineering manager at New Balance Athletic Shoes will be director of the 2012 conference.

Gerald Perritt, chief operating officer at UTi Integrated Logistics, is director of web services.
 
Andrea Velasquez, vice-president of business development at Epstein is director of membership marketing, while John Mascaritolo, assistant professor of supply chain at Clayton State University is director of industry relations.

Gregory Javor, vice-president global logistics at Starbucks Coffee Company and Paul Avampato, vice-president of process design at Kraft Foods are directors-at-large.
