RONA Inc. has appointed J. P. Towner to the role of president and CEO.
Towner joined RONA in October 2023 as CFO. He is a seasoned executive with more than 15 years of experience in corporate strategy, financial management and leadership, whose extensive expertise and proven track record of driving profitable growth will support RONA’s ambition of becoming the best home improvement retailer in Canada.
J.P. Towner has previously held top leadership roles in high-profile Canadian retail and construction companies, including CFO at Dollarama and executive vice-president and CFO at Pomerleau Inc.
The Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) announced today changes to its board of directors, confirming the appointment of Rod Graham.
Graham is the president of Velocity Truck Centres in Canada and has extensive experience as senior corporate executive in various sectors including financial/investment, transportation, alternative energy, construction, manufacturing and resource services. Graham is a chartered financial analyst with an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University and a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) program. Based in Calgary, he has served on more than two dozen public, private and not-for-profit boards in Western Canada, including the board of governors of the Business Council of British Columbia and Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation. His three-year term commenced June 17, 2024.
