Howard Eng has been appointed president and CEO of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, and is expected to start late in the first quarter of 2012. Eng is returning to Canada after working at Hong Kong International Airport since 1995 as executive director, airport operations. Before that, Eng was vice-president, operations, at Edmonton International Airport. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta with over 30 years of leadership experience, specializing in airport hub development.
Nissan Forklift Corporation has appointed Lewis Byers as business development manager, east region. Bringing 23 years of salesand operations experience in the materials handling industry, Byers is responsible for business development for 19Nissan Forklift dealers in the east region of the US and Canada; his territory stretches from Newfoundland and Labrador south to Miami, Florida. Byers earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of North Florida.
