Tim Harrington has been named vice-president, Canada, at MOL (Canada) Inc. He will be based in Toronto, and will report directly to Richard Craig, senior-vice-president of operations of MOL (America) Inc. The appointment comes ahead of an operational change at the company which will see Mitsui OSK Lines Ltd change its operating name to MOL (Canada) Inc, beginning on August 1, 2013, as the MOL (America) Inc and Montship Inc liner agent agreement expires on July 31 ,2013. Harrington has worked for CAST, Sea-Land Service Inc, Maersk Line and NYK Line.
London, UK-based pharmaceutical supply chain company Marken, has appointed Joan Yan as the new general manager of its Beijing office. She will be responsible for the logistics operations in China and will also have administrative responsibility for the new depot facility which has recently been commissioned for the GMP storage and distribution of drug product and ancillary materials. Before joining Marken, Yan was at CEVA Logistics.
Janet Carter Smith has joined Park City Group, a Park City, Utah-based company that offers retail stock management and food traceability solutions, as senior vice-president of market development.
UPS has added Rodney Adkins to its board of directors. He will serve on the audit committee of the Atlanta, Georgia-based company’s board. Adkins will stand for election to a regular one-year term at the next shareholders’ meeting in May 2014.
Bill Antoskiewicz has been hired as the senior vice-president of solutions at Rogers, Minnesota-based Archway. He will be responsible for developing and implementing new solutions for clients at the marketing logistics and fulfillment services company. Previously Antoskiewicz worked at supply chain serivces provider WorkflowOne.
