Who’s on the move this week [May 28, 2013]
Houston, Texas-based CEVA Logistics has promoted Jim Barnett to the position of vice-president, automotive sector for the Americas. For the last four years, he served as chief operating officer of CEVA’s joint venture with Anji Logistics in China, Anji-CEVA. Anji Logistics is a subsidiary company of SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industries Company). He will be based in Detroit, Michigan.

Umberto Bedini has been named as chief operations officer for the Bari, Italy-based furniture manufacturer, Natuzzi Group. He will be responsible for integrating the worldwide manufacturing and supply chain processes, simplifying the organizational structure, and adopting Lean practices.
AFS Technologies Inc, a Phoenix, Arizona-based provider for enterprise on-demand software for food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers and distributors, has appointed Chris Mitchell as vice-president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He will be based in the UK.
John Batten, executive vice-president of cargo services for Zurich, Switzerland-based Swissport International Ltd, announced he will step down from the aviation ground services provider effective August 31, 2013.

Irvine, California-based DecisionPoint Systems Inc has promoted Michael Roe to the role of principal financial officer. Roe, who served as vice-president of finance, assumes the principal financial and administrative duties of chief financial officer Dave Goodman, who has left the RFID solution provider.
Mike Walker has been named as regional sales manager, southeast region for Lexington, Kentucky-based Clark Material Handling Company. He will report directly to Dale Guckian, sales manager for North America.
