Who’s on the move this week [September 18, 2012]

Vince Sheeran has been named as CEO of Nexiant. Part of his role will be to help the Lake Forest, California-based company expand its market reach. Nexiant sells software to provide visibility into the indirect materials supply chain.

Joe Bento is the new chief sales officer at SEKO Logistics. Before his appointment, he was executive vice-president at CEVA Logistics. Part of his duties will be to increase the sales efforts of the Chicago, Illinois-based supply chain solutions provider.

Johnson & Johnson appointed Sandra Peterson as its group worldwide chair and as a member of its executive committee. She will be responsible for the consumer group of companies, for the business’ information technology strategy and for overseeing the global supply chain for the New Brunswick, New Jersey-based company.

3PL Saddle Creek Logistics Services of Lakeland, Florida, named Joe Maggio as vice-president of business development.

Checkpoint Systems, a Thorofare, New Jersey-based company which makes shrink management, merchandise visibility and apparel labeling products, has a new member on its board of directors. Stephen David, who most recently served as chair and interim CEO of storage company Iomega, is the new addition.
