Sonia Jain has been appointed chief financial officer at Convoy. Jain will take over from Convoy’s president and chief operating officer, Mark Okerstrom, who has served as acting CFO since December 2020. Jain joins Convoy from Cars.com, where she has been CFO since 2020. Before joining Cars.com, Jain spent 10 years with Redbox/Outerwall and before that spent several years at both Morgan Stanley and McKinsey & Company.
JJ Ethridge has been appointed as 6 River Systems’s first chief strategy officer (CSO). Before joining 6RS, Ethridge was a senior executive at GXO Logistics and Sears. Ethridge also served or more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy, including serving as a Commanding Officer.
Doug Schuchart will lead Beckhoff Automation’s business development efforts worldwide in distribution and fulfillment center, parcel and post applications as Global intralogistics industry manager. A native of Eastern Pennsylvania, Schuchart joined Beckhoff USA in 2007 as a regional sales engineer before taking on the dual role of Northeast Regional Sales Manager and Material Handling & Logistics Industry Manager in 2016. Since 2019, he has focused exclusively on customers as Material Handling & Intralogistics Industry Manager. Before Beckhoff, Schuchart held multiple management, sales and engineering roles for Delta Systems & Automation and Device Bus Integration, Inc.
Renee Krug has been named CEO of Transflo, allowing Frank Adelman to become Transflo’s chairman of the board, while Bill Vitti was announced as president and chief revenue officer. Krug recently served as CEO of GlobalTranz, a leading third-party logistics provider with more than $2 billion in annual revenue. She also has experience on the carrier side through her leadership roles at Swift Transportation, and shipper experience from Honeywell. In 2018, Krug was presented with the Distinguished Women in Logistics Award, by Women in Trucking. Vitti joins Transflo with more than 25 years’ experience in the transportation industry. He served as chief commercial officer for Truckstop.com. Vitti was also president of Swift Logistics, a leading brokerage and 3PL provider, and head of marketing and strategy for Swift Transportation.
