Swisslog Healthcare has promoted Jill Picard to vice-president of customer service for the medication management division. Picard has been with Swisslog Healthcare since 2016, previously serving as the director of finance, based in the Colorado offices of TransLogic, a Swisslog Healthcare company. While in that role, Picard acted as a critical strategist and internal partner for business planning. Her performance in this role was recognized at KUKA Talent in 2020.
The Georgia Ports Authority has named Flavio Batista as its new vice-president of sales and marketing. Batista comes to GPA from the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Group, where he most recently served as senior vice-president and head of Americas sales, leading ocean and logistics commercial development and customer relations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Latin America. before that, he was executive vice-president and head of commercial activities for Europe, Africa and the Middle East at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, based in Antwerp, Belgium. Prior to his time at WWL Europe, he was vice-president for WWL in Sao Paulo, Brazil, responsible for South America.
American Airlines Cargo has appointed Clément Fau as its new country sales manager for France. Based at the airline’s French headquarters at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG), he will report to Emma Oliver, sales director for EMEA & APAC. Fau brings almost two decades of experience in the airline and cargo industry, most recently as key accounts and pharma sales manager at Air France KLM Martinair Cargo.
Scott Matthews, former CEO of MRP and CrowdTwist, is joining Verusen as CEO and board director. Verusen founder Paul Noble will transition to the position of chief strategy officer. Matthews brings 16 years of leadership experience to Verusen. Previously, he was CEO of MRP. Before joining MRP, Matthews was CEO of CrowdTwist Inc. for four years. Earlier, he held senior-level roles in technology, sales, and SaaS companies.
