ADM Aéroports de Montréal has appointed Marie-Hélène Nolet as chair of the board, succeeding Mélanie Kau, whose term as a director expires on May 2, 2024. Nolet has been a member of ADM’s board of directors since 2019 and is a member of its audit and risk management committee. She was nominated as a director by the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montréal (CCMM) due to her skills in finance, governance, communications and public affairs. Nolet has more than 25 years of management, investment and negotiation experience in Canada, the United States and Europe. Most recently, she was chief operating officer at Desjardins Capital. She also worked at BDC, where she held positions in venture capital, marketing and public relations, and advisory services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from McGill University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
The following were elected to the board of directors of Air Canada on March 28, 2024. Amee Chande, Christie J.B. Clark, Gary A. Doer, Rob Fyfe, Michael M. Green, Jean Marc Huot, Claudette McGowan, Madeleine Paquin, Michael Rousseau, Vagn Sørensen, Kathleen Taylor, Annette Verschuren, and Michael M. Wilson.
Uber Freight has appointed Dan Annunziata head of commercial, and Hany Elkordy assumed leadership of the last mile division. Annunziata was most recently vice-president at CH Robinson, where he was responsible for sales and go-to-market strategy in their North American surface transportation division. Before Uber Freight Elkordy was vice-president of logistics at Chewy and vice-president of last mile for Walmart US e-commerce. These appointments followed several recent hires, including D’Andrae Larry, a former executive at Norfolk Southern Corporation, now head of intermodal; Alec Getschow, vice-president of mid-market sales in the commercial organization, with previous experience at CH Robinson; and former Convoy executive Brooks McMahon who took on the role of vice-president, emerging products and business development.
