Vancouver Fraser Port Authority

Robin Silvester

Vancouver Fraser Port Authority CEO Robin Silvester has announced that he will be leaving the port authority after more than 14 years leading the organization. Silvester will be staying on to support a leadership transition. The Board of Directors will undertake a global search for a new president and CEO.

Agility Robotics

Melonee Wise has joined Agility Robotics as chief technology officer. Before joining Agility, Wise was vice-president and general manager of robotics automation for Zebra Technologies. In 2021, Zebra acquired Fetch Robotics, which Wise co-founded, and where shewas CEO from the company’s formation in 2015. In 2022 she was awarded the Engelberger Robotics Award, the world’s most prestigious robotics honour.

GreyOrange

GreyOrange Inc., has made four key leadership appointments. Jim Stirewalt takes over as managing partner of the GO5 consulting team. Tom Cherryhomes is now vice-president of goPartner and alliances. Ruchira Garg is vice-president of people operations. Stacy Groves is now vice-president of customer success management. Stirewalt brings over 25 years of experience building and executing growth strategies for emerging startups and large enterprises, having served as a leader for companies including IBM and SAP. Cherryhomes is a 30-year logistics and supply chain veteran, with experience including leadership for robotics startup Fabric, CEVA Logistics in the U.S., Sun Microsystems, Silicon Graphics, and IBM. Garg brings nearly 20 years of experience in human relations (HR) for leading technology companies including VMWare, Adobe, Sapient and Avaya. Groves has more than two decades of leadership experience including at Ashley Furniture and Abercrombie & Fitch.

Chapman Freeborn

Chapman Freeborn has appointed Catriona Taylor to the newly created position of global supplier relations director and Jenny van Wyk has been promoted to country manager – South Africa. Taylor has worked with Chapman Freeborn for 18 years, most recently in the position of group passenger operations director, where she oversaw passenger and VIP charters across the business. Van Wyk has been with Chapman Freeborn for nine years as a member of the passenger team based in South Africa.
