The U.S. Surface Transportation Board (STB) approved the appointment of former U.S. Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Administrator Ronald Batory as the trustee of the CP-Kansas City Southern (KCS) Voting Trust, following the death of David Starling. Batory serves as the voting trustee until CP exercises control of KCS with the authorization of the STB. He has more than 45 years of experience in the railroad industry, including time as president of the Belt Railway of Chicago and president and chief operating officer of Consolidated Rail Corporation. From 2018 to 2021, Batory served as FRA administrator.
Motion2AI has appointed Scott Cubbler as CEO. Cubbler succeeds Byungsoo Kim, founder, who will remain as chairman of the board. Cubbler is a supply chain and logistics industry veteran with over 35 years of experience. He joined Motion2AI in
March of 2022 as a strategic advisor. Previously, Cubbler spent more than two decades at DHL Supply Chain, most recently as president of life sciences and healthcare, a position he held since 2012. He was also a DHL Supply Chain North America executive team and North American board member.
Olivier Prigent has been hired into the newly created role of vice-president freight forwarding for InstaFreight. Prigent learned the freight forwarding business from scratch. He previously spent more than a decade as vice-president IDC and director sales at DHL Freight Euronet.
