Winpack

Larry Warelis has retired from Winpack Ltd. Warelis was the company’s vice-president and chief financial officer, and retires April 29, 2022, after 25 years with the company in various senior administration roles, the last five as CFO. Scott Taylor replaces him as Winpak’s new vice-president and CFO. Taylor joined Winpak in 1999 and has been director of corporate accounting and treasury since 2017.

GreyOrange

Sara Gardner

GreyOrange has appointed Sara Gardner as vice-president of product marketing. Gardner joins GreyOrange from Johnson Controls Inc., where she was head of global growth strategy and marketing for the company’s surveillance and physical access control portfolios. Before that she was chief technology officer and vice-president of strategy for Hitachi Insight Group. Gardner also spent four years as head of BI/DW product management and product marketing at Hewlett Packard and 11 years in various product management, marketing, alliances and technical sales roles with Oracle Corporation.

Kion Group

The long-serving global head of corporate communications at Kion Group AG, Michael Hauger, leaves the intralogistics solutions provider on March 31, 2022. He joined in 2007, shortly after the Group was spun off from Linde AG and sold to private equity, and built the communications function. Over the past 15 years, during which he worked closely with outgoing CEO Gordon Riske, he has led the multi-brand group’s internal, external, and digital communications, public affairs, and brand management, and has established integrated communications across the Group. A successor has not yet been named.

National Wooden Pallet & Container

Lindsey Shean-Snowden, general manager of Valley Pallet, a member of the Pallet Logistics of America family of companies, has been appointed to the National Wooden Pallet & Container’s (NWPCA) 2022 board of directors. Her father, Frank Shean, founder of Valley Pallet and area vice-president at PLA, served on the NWPCA Board for nearly 10 years and as chairman in 2020.
