The federal transport ministry has made the following appointments to various agencies. Canadian Transportation Agency: Heather Smith (appointed as Member; term of four years); Mary Tobin Oates (appointed as Member; term of four years). Canadian Air Transport Security Authority: Patricia Kennedy (reappointed as Director; term of three years). Hamilton Port Authority: Beverly Anne Waldes (appointed as Director; term of three years); Meghan Davis (appointed as Director; term of three years). Nanaimo Port Authority: Robbin Sinclaire (appointed as Director; term of three years). Port Alberni Port Authority: Dennis Jonsson (reappointed as Director; term of two years); Allan Haggard (reappointed as Director; term of two years); Jeffrey Cook (appointed as Director; term of three years). Quebec Port Authority: Marie-Soleil Tremblay (reappointed as Director; term of three years). Toronto Port Authority: Hellen Siwanowicz (appointed as Director; term of three years); Donald McIntyre (appointed as Director; term of three years). Trois-Rivières Port Authority: Pierre Ducharme (appointed as Director; term of three years); Véronique Néron (appointed as Director; term of three years). Vancouver Fraser Port Authority: Michael Corrigan (appointed as Director; term of three years). John Rizzo

John Rizzo has joined Twinlode Automation as manager of automation sales. With more than 30 plus-years’ experience in sales and warehouse planning, Rizzo will work with the Twinlode team to grow its automation focus, including conveyors and advanced automation systems. Formerly of Pak West, a packaging system integrator based in Santa Ana, California, Rizzo has a keen ability to identify and solve material handling and packaging related problems which transcends several industries.

Mary Guilfoile

Pitney Bowes announced the election of Mary Steele Guilfoile and Robert M. Dutkowsky to its board of directors, effective July 9, 2018. The election of Guilfoile and Dutkowsky to the Pitney Bowes board of directors will bring the total number of directors to 13. Guilfoile will serve on the finance and audit committees and Dutkowsky will serve on the governance and compensation committees. Guilfoile is the Chairman of MG Advisors, Inc., a privately-owned financial services merger and acquisition advisory and consulting services firm. Guilfoile’s professional history includes 25 years on Wall Street and another dozen years with professional service firms focused on Wall Street. She currently serves on the boards of The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG), C.H. Robinson Worldwide (CHRW), and Hudson Ltd. (HUD). Previously she was on the Board of Trustees of Boston College for 18 years and the board of directors of Viasys Healthcare Inc. (VAS) and Valley National

Bob Dutkowsky

Bancorp (VLY). She continues as a Trustee Associate for Boston College. Dutkowsky was appointed executive chairman of Tech Data’s board of directors in June 2018. In this role, he serves as a strategic advisor to Tech Data’s chief executive officer (CEO). Dutkowsky joined Tech Data Corporation in 2006 as CEO and a member of the company’s board of directors. In June 2017, he was elected Chairman. He has more than 40 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, including senior executive positions in sales, marketing and channel distribution with leading manufacturers and software publishers IBM, EMC, and J.D. Edwards.
