Who’s on the move: July 23, 2018

Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. and Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. announced the leadership team for the new Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), effective upon the July 9, 2018 close of the merger transaction. The following executives will now comprise the KDP executive leadership team: Rodger Collins is appointed president direct store delivery, with responsibility for all company-owned DSD operations. He joined Dr Pepper Snapple in 2006 through its acquisition of Dr Pepper/Seven-Up Bottling Group. He has been with the Bottling Group and its predecessor companies since 1978 and was most recently president of Packaged Beverages. Fernando Cortes is appointed chief supply chain officer. He joined Dr Pepper Snapple in 2003 and was most recently executive vice-president of supply chain. Rich Jones is appointed chief integration and supply chain transformation officer. He joined Keurig in 2017 as chief supply chain officer.

Wildeck, Inc., has promoted Kelly Kamlager to director of marketing. She replaces Hubert (Hue) Schlegel who retired on July 13 after some 13 years with the company. Kamlager will report directly to Paul Mihelich, vice-president of sales and marketing. Kamlager began her career with Wildeck in 2006 as marketing assistant and was promoted to marketing specialist in 2009, and to senior marketing specialist in 2014. She was promoted to the position of marketing manager in 2015.

Smithers has recently named Duane Neidert as its new head of consultancy – America’s information business. Neidert will work with Smithers team of subject matter experts, researchers and analysts to provide consulting to clients looking to assess markets and develop growth strategies. Smithers supports clients in several industry verticals including the packaging value chain and the tire industry. Neidert brings over 20 years of experience in developing growth strategies and driving execution with Fortune 500 companies and top tier consulting firms. Over the course of his career, Neidert has a range of experience across industries such as retail, printing, polymers, building products, automotive, and industrial.
