Who’s on the move: March 6, 2017

Three appointments have been made to the board of directors of the Buffalo-Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority. They are: Debbie Zimmerman, CEO, Grape Growers of Ontario and former regional chair and CEO, Regional Municipality of Niagara from St-Catharines; Tim Clutterbuck, president and CEO of ASW Steel Inc from Welland, Ontario; and Isabel Meharry, CEO of Kerry’s Place Autism Services from Toronto, Ontario.

Danny Di Perna has been appointed vice-president, global sourcing for GE Power. Before GE, Di Perna was Pratt & Whitney’s senior vice-president of operations, responsible for new product development, sourcing, manufacturing, supply chain, supplier quality and production engine assembly. He has more than 27 years of experience within the aerospace industry, including 24 years with United Technologies Corporation. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Concordia University and his master’s in business administration from McGill University.

Adrian Button has been promoted to vice-president of supply chain for industrial solutions, GE Energy Connections. Button joined GE in 1998 as a quality engineer and has held several operations leadership positions with GE Aviation, Unison Industries and GE Oil & Gas. Before joining GE Energy Connections, he served as General Manager of Turbo Machinery Solutions for GE Oil & Gas covering the Middle East and North Africa region and General Manager of the Global Operations team. Button earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Glamorgan in the United Kingdom.

Iptor Supply Chain Systems appointed Eric Dodd as CFO. Dodd brings 20 years of experience in senior finance roles at high performance technology businesses to his position at Iptor.  Most recently he was CFO of KBC, a UK- listed software and services company, which was sold to Yokogawa of Japan. Dodd qualified as chartered accountant with Deloitte in London and has an MBA from London Business School. He is also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Cambridge Cognition PLC.
