Who’s on the move: May 23, 2016

CEVA Logistics appointed Alain Souto to the position of vice-president global contract logistics – aerospace sector operations.  He will be based in Madrid, Spain reporting to chief operating officer contract logistics, Brett Bissell. Aerospace logistics is deeply embedded within CEVA’s Freight Management and Contract Logistics operations. One of Souto’s first priorities will be to drive the standardization of CEVA’s existing Aerospace operations while also developing growth and improvement strategies for the sector. Souto joins CEVA from Kuehne & Nagel where he was most recently director of industry and aerospace logistics.  Prior to that he held management positions at Christian Salvesen and Hays Logistics.

XPO Logistics, Inc appointed Ramon Genemaras to the newly created position of chief transformation officer, effective immediately. Genemaras will lead the ongoing transformation of the company’s global business processes with a P&L focus. Genemaras has nearly three decades of senior experience in operations excellence, network optimization, strategic sourcing management and Lean Six Sigma with Fortune 500 companies. Prior to XPO, Genemaras served as chief operating officer for a $4.5 billion division of Johnson Controls, Inc.; vice president-operational excellence for an $8 billion division of Tyco International; and senior vice president-global operations and supply chain for CHEP, a logistics company of the Brambles Group. Earlier, he spent 17 years with General Electric Company, including executive roles with GE Motors Manufacturing, GE Commercial Transformers and GE Industrial Solutions. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida.

Gary Wilson

Aerospace logistics provider B&H Worldwide has appointed Gary Wilson to the newly created position of non-executive finance director. Wilson is a highly accomplished financial director with significant board level experience in driving efficiency and growth in international businesses.  He will be based from the company’s London Heathrow headquarters and will work alongside the company’s existing finance team.
