Livingston International has appointed Candace Sider to the newly created position of vice-president, regulatory affairs Canada. Sider will be responsible for developing and implementing government affairs strategy, as well as the overall management of Livingston’s political engagement with federal and provincial officials, regulatory agencies and key policymakers. She will be Livingston’s primary representative with the Canada Border Services Agency, focused on regulatory changes that impact global trade, compliance and risk management. She represents Livingston on the Border Customs Consultative Committee (BCCC) and several of its high-level committees. She is the past chair and a current board member of the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers, and managing director and treasurer on the board of the International Federation of Customs Brokers Association.
Chuck MoratzCLARK Material Handing Company has created a worldwide product engineering group and appointed Chuck Moratz senior vice-president of global engineering, reporting to Dennis Lawrence, president & CEO of CLARK. Moratz will be responsible for overseeing and directing all engineering efforts worldwide. He has nearly 20 years of engineering and management experience with CLARK. He was COO of CLARK for the past three years and part of the CLARK management team for the past 10 years.
CLARK also appointed Chuck Mix as vice-president of operations, reporting to Dennis Lawrence. He will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operational and administrative functions of the Company. He brings over 15 years of global & operations management experience to CLARK. He earned an MBA from the University of Indianapolis, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Purdue University.
Thomas Coyne has been appointed regional director of North America – president for Kardex Remstar. Coyne is an accomplished industry executive with extensive experience guiding material handling automation distributor organizations. He has a broad network within the material handling industry based on his previous roles in other organizations.
