Who’s on the move: January 6, 2020

Trailer manufacturer Horizon Global Corporation‘s board of directors has appointed Richard Jok as interim CFO and Matthew Meyer as chief accounting officer. Both appointments took effect in December 2019. Previously Jok was the company’s vice-president, financial planning and analysis. He replaces outgoing CFO Jamie Pierson. Before joining the company, Jok was CFO of OE Automotive Group, LLC, and before that at Vari-Form. Meyer served as the company’s corporate controller since November 2018. Before joining the company, Meyer was corporate controller for Joyson Safety Systems, and before that was director, accounting and reporting for Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation.

Transporeon, a European-based digitial freight solutions provider, has appointed Stephan Sieber as its new CEO. The company’s two founders, Marc-Oliver Simon and Martin Mack, remain shareholders in the Group and will shape the future development of Transporeon through active roles on the advisory board. Sieber brings 13 years of experience from SAP, most recently as managing director SAP Switzerland. Previously, he shaped ERP provider Unit4’s development over a period of five years, three of which as CEO with responsibility for more than 4,000 employees.

Corrugated and plastic packaging manufacturer and supply chain solutions provider Menasha Corporation has appointed Michael Waite to its board. Waite retired from Menasha Corporation on December 31, 2018 following a 37-year career, including 15 as president of Menasha Packaging Company, LLC, a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation. Waite led Menasha Packaging Company through a period of significant growth and success, transitioning it from a regional corrugated packaging business to an independent retail-focused merchandising and packaging fulfillment and services company. Waite serves on the Boards of Bemis Manufacturing Company and Charter Manufacturing Company. He graduated from Southampton Institute of Technology in Southampton, England, and he is a graduate of Harvard’s Advanced Management Program.
