Cargojet

Cargojet Inc. announced the appointment of Aaron McKay as chief financial officer, effective Aug. 1. McKay brings expertise in the airline industry, with a track record in senior financial leadership roles. Cargojet said his strategic acumen and understanding of financial operations will significantly strengthen the company’s executive team as it continues to drive growth and operational excellence.

“We are delighted to welcome Aaron as our chief financial officer,” said co-CEOs Jamie B. Porteous and Pauline Dhillon in a joint statement. “His exceptional financial expertise and industry insights will be instrumental in guiding Cargojet’s strategic initiatives and ensuring sustained financial success. We are confident Aaron’s leadership will further solidify our position as a market leader.”

North Pacific Green Corridor Consortium

The North Pacific Green Corridor Consortium (NPGCC), established to decarbonize and enhance the resilience of the trade corridor between Canada, Japan and South Korea, announced David Molinski as executive director. Molinski will lead NPGCC’s efforts to reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency and strengthen the trade corridor connecting the three countries. 

With over 30 years of experience in government and the energy and cleantech sectors, Molinski’s career includes roles as assistant deputy Minister of the oil and gas division at the Government of British Columbia’s Ministry of Energy, Low-Carbon Solutions, and as the founding CEO of CO2 Lock Corporation, where he developed carbon mineralization and storage solutions.

Prince Rupert Port Authority

The Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) announced that Katherine Bamford is joining the organization as the new vice-president of business development.

Bamford is a leader with over 25 years of experience in business development, stakeholder engagement and business innovation. She is an advisor in strategic communications, integrated marketing, government relations and brand management. In successive roles at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, Bamford led initiatives in international market expansion and customer engagement across North America, Asia and Europe. Serving for 13 years as director, trade development, she was responsible for providing strategic leadership and daily management of the port’s commercial customer engagement and outreach strategies, maintaining and growing market share across port sectors.
