Tom Pauls, CCLP recently joined SCL Search Consultants Ltd as managing director. Pauls is a seasoned recruitment consultant with over 13 years of experience in the supply chain and logistics sector.
Vicky StaffordThe OTA Education Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to welcome its newest member, Vicki Stafford, vice-president of resource development for the Cavalier Group of Companies. Stafford taught high school for 11 years, and left education to join the family business in 1998, and has found that her background as a teacher was an excellent foundation for the roles she now plays within the human resources, staff development, and strategic planning functions. She has also been involved in Trucking HR Canada, and its predecessor, the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council. She is also on the board of the Truck and Coach Program in the Peel District School Board.
Advance Storage Products welcomes John Hoeft as VP operations. He will be overseeing operations for Advance’s Georgia and Utah manufacturing plants and will serve as the company’s Lean Champion. Hoeft has over 25 years of experience leading and managing change in manufacturing. He has an MBA and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Don Lynn is American Trucking Associations‘ (ATA) new senior vice president of sales and marketing. In his new role as senior vice president of sales and marketing, Lynn will be responsible for the ongoing promotion of the federation’s various products, selling sponsorships and exhibit space to events, recruiting and retaining allied members and other projects aimed at raising the profile of ATA, its members and the industry. Before coming to ATA, Lynn spent more than two decades in sales and marketing within the trucking industry, most recently as vice president of operations at Coastal Transport, Savannah, Georgia.
