Appointments, promotions, moves and changes in the supply chain sector this week

MercuryGate International, Inc. has appointed Traci Kellner as chief people officer, reporting to president and CEO Joe Juliano. Kellner was president of Quantum People Solutions, Inc. and previously was executive vice-president of Human Capital for Beeline, formerly IQNavigator. She earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Thomas Musgrave has been named chief information officer and Michael Kluger is now COO at Neovia Logistics. Musgrave joins Neovia from Americold Logistics where he held a variety of senior leadership roles, most recently as EVP and CIO. Before Americold, he held IT leadership positions at Syncreon, Meemic Insurance, and Westlake Financial Group. Kluger is a logistics industry veteran and has been with Neovia since 2013, most recently as vice-president of the Global Solutions Engineering and Launch organization. Bfore Neovia, Kluger held leadership roles at DB Schenker, Fiege, Ford Motor Company, and Ryder Integrated Logistics.

Mark C. Smith has been appointed vice-president of supply chain for Carlisle Companies. Smith joined Carlisle in 2012 as vice-president of supply chain for Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CIT) and was previously a vice-president of sourcing for General Cable.

Cathal Phelan has joined Impinj, Inc.’s board of directors. Phelan is currently CEO of Rapt Touch, Inc., a provider of touchscreen technology, and a consultant on business strategies, intellectual property management, and systems and semiconductor designs. He previously served as CEO of Ubicom, Inc., and led several business units and served as chief technical officer over his 20-year tenure at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation. Phelan has served on boards of directors for both public and private technology companies. He holds a master’s degree in microelectronic engineering from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland.

Mark Manninen has been promoted to the position of vice president, sales and marketing at UniCarriers Americas (UCA). Manninen, a 28-year company veteran, was most recently senior director, retail operations and acquisitions for UCA. In addition, he was also president of New England Industrial Truck and Capital Equipment & Handling, the two company-owned forklift dealerships.
