Carol Kerfoot of Vancouver has been appointed to the board of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority for a term ending on September 25, 2016. Kerfoot has been a partner at Kornfeld LLP in since 1993. Prior to that, she was an associate lawyer for Freeman & Company since 1976, where she became a partner in 1981. She has served as a director for many organizations: the Vancouver Airport Authority; the Vancouver Museum Society; the Women’s Resource Centre Society; and the BC Assessment Authority. She also served as director and corporate secretary of Core-Mark International Inc, and as a Vancouver Police Foundation Police trustee.
The Raymond Corporation has appointed Michael Field as CEO, and Tim Combs as president of sales and marketing—both effective April 1. In his new role, Field will oversee the operations, engineering, sales and marketing, and administrative functions at Raymond. Since he joined Raymond in 2004, Field has served as the vice president of engineering and, most recently, president of operations and engineering. As president of sales and marketing at Raymond, Combs will lead sales and marketing activities, including distribution development. He currently is the executive vice president of sales and marketing for Raymond.
Michael Beedles is now Head of North America for the SATO Group. In this new role he will be responsible for growing SATO’s presence in the region and implementing a go to market strategy that focuses on total solutions. In addition to overseeing the North American market, Beedles also serves as the President of SATO Global Solutions (SGS), a group company specializing in software development and solution integration.
Martin (Marty) Hull joined Plug Power as Chief Accounting Officer. He will report directly to Paul Middleton, Chief Financial Officer at Plug Power. Previously, Hull was a principal and director at the accounting firm of Marvin and Company, PC. Prior to that, he was an audit partner at KPMG LLP, serving various public companies.
