MODEX 2012: Hytrol and Beumer sign deal

Partnership covers the Americas

ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Somerset, New Jersey-based Beumer Group and Hytrol Conveyor Co Inc, headquartered in Jonesboro, Arkansas, have formed a Western hemisphere alliance.

The two companies are working together to offer sortation and automated material handling solutions across North and South America.

In a statement, president and CEO of Beumer, Thomas Dalstein, explained how the companies’ product lines complement each other.

“As market leader in energy-efficient, high-performance loop sortation systems, the Beumer Group has established worldwide the benchmark for quality, innovation, and unrivaled customer outcomes. Hytrol, a leader in material handling systems, also exemplifies these standards. This alliance offers expanded business value to a wide range of customers in the logistics segment and enhances market access for both Beumer and Hytrol.”

Hytrol president,  Gregg Goodner, believes the partnership will be beneficial to both the companies and their customers.
