CEVA launches global supplier awards

HOOFDDORP, NETHERLANDS: Global supply chain management company CEVA Logistics held its first global Supplier Awards on July 14, which recognize execution, commitment and strategic alignment among CEVA’s supplier base. Office Depot won the Supplier of the Year award, CEVA said, in recognition of their work to improve service and deliver innovation, as well as their clear understanding of CEVA’s business requirements.
The full list of winners at the awards included:
- Air: Lufthansa Cargo
- Ocean: Safmarine Container Line NV
- Road: Mercer Transportation Company Inc
- Northern Europe: Office Depot Inc
- Americas: CB Richard Ellis Inc
- Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa: AKNO Business Parks S.p.A.
- Asia Pacific: APS Group (Holdings Pty Ltd)
“As a service organization ourselves, we understand how suppliers can contribute to a company’s success and often support effective change,” said CEVA’s CEO John Pattullo. “We pride ourselves on delivering impeccably to our customers and I am delighted to be able to recognize suppliers who provide the same high service levels to CEVA.”
The awards were presented at the City of Books facility in Stradella, Italy. Entries from a wide variety of suppliers were received across seven categories, CEVA said. Companies were judged on their performance in 2010, demonstration of clear business values and corporate culture, employing global best practice within their operations, the successful execution of major projects in support of CEVA’s business, sustainability programs and corporate social responsibility.
