Delmar sells its New York office

Delmar International Inc sold its Buffalo, New York-based office in late September to Universal Logistics Inc of Markham, Ontario.

The office in Buffalo operates under the name Federated International Inc.

Universal is owned by the Glionna family and was established in 1949. The company was also a former shareholder of Federated Customs Brokers of Toronto, Ontario.

Delmar, which is based in Montreal, acquired Federated International Inc in 2009 as part of a larger acquisition of the Federated Group and Federated Customs Brokers Ltd.

Federated International was a stand-alone customs brokerage operated.

Delmar was founded in 1965 and is located at major gateways throughout North America, China, Taiwan and the UK.
