Montreal-based Fuel Transport says it is expanding its warehousing network with a major renovation and expansion of its Cordner facility as part of its long-term growth strategy.
The logistics and transportation company said the upgraded Montreal warehouse is scheduled for completion in May 2026 and will provide 126,000 square feet of space. The facility will include 12 dock doors, higher ceiling clearances, upgraded racking systems and infrastructure designed to support both dedicated and shared-use operations.
The company said the expansion has already helped secure a five-year customer commitment.
“This investment is a reflection of our long-term vision. We’re growing with our clients and for our clients,” said Robert Piccioni, CEO of Fuel Transport. “Cordner represents our ability to anticipate future needs, invest with intention and continue earning trust through reliability, scale and innovation.”
Fuel Transport said it is also evaluating plans to convert another existing site into a multi-client fulfillment centre to address changing trade patterns and increasing demand for flexible supply chain services.
The company is also expanding its Brampton, Ont., warehouse at 35 Precidio, which it said has secured a new long-term client partnership. Additional capacity at that facility is expected to come online in January 2026.
Fuel Transport said the expansion projects are intended to support long-term customer growth and strengthen its national and cross-border distribution capabilities.
