Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) has reached a tentative agreement with Unifor, averting a strike that was set to begin at 12:01 a.m. Jan. 29.
The union said the agreement addresses key priorities identified by members, including work ownership, improvements to working conditions and repairing strained labour relations.
Ratification votes will be scheduled for the upcoming week, with Unifor asking its members to attend and participate in the decision-making process.
