New Volvo business for CEVA

Houston, Texas—CEVA Logistics has won a two year extension for Customs brokerage services with Volvo Cars of North America, the US subsidiary of the Swedish luxury automotive manufacturer.

CEVA’s US Customs brokerage team had been providing services to Volvo through an initial one year contract, which was extended.

According to Jennifer Klees, Customs Manager of Volvo, “The decision to extend our contract with CEVA for brokerage services was straightforward, based upon the outstanding customer service and commitment we have received.  The team is dedicated not only to meeting KPI’s – which is important – but also to continuous improvement of processes and ways to work together more efficiently.”

CEVA provides brokerage services to Volvo from its Detroit offices, enabling access to the company’s automotive sector expertise.

“We highly value our strong partnership with Volvo,” said Kimberly Wakeman, Senior Director, Business Development, Customs Brokerage and Trade Services, for CEVA in North America. “We are gratified by Volvo’s recognition of the value provided to their brokerage operations, both through this contract extension and the opportunity to engage with them in additional services such as Canadian transborder shipments, domestic parts distribution and other opportunities leveraging CEVA’s global network.”
